Casa Amorita is an intimate Inn located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta on the west coast of Mexico. It is just three blocks from the ocean on a quaint, cobblestone street just behind the majestic Cathedral de Guadalupe. Casa Amorita has a panoramic view of the fourth biggest natural bay in the world... and the Sierra Madre Mountains.
Casa Amorita has the best view of the cathedral in all of Puerto Vallarta. Along the entire front of the property is a cobalt blue, venetian tile pool that goes right into the living room. There is a bar on the roof, a bar in the house, and a swim-up bar in the pool. There are ocean views from every room, skylights, sun decks, terraces, and if you are lucky you can see whales in the ocean when you are relaxing in your room. There is a garden with a bird sanctuary, a fountain, bamboo trees, and plenty of places to hide.

Tropical Garden with Fountain Puerto Vallarta...
The best part about Casa Amorita is that is in Puerto Vallarta. The energy there is great. Sun all the time. Blue water everywhere. Mountains that tumble to the ocean. Church bells ringing, roosters crowing, and music in the air all the time. Not to mention an incredible ocean sunset every single night. After dark, you can enjoy fireworks launched nightly from an old pirate ship in the bay.
But the real hook is the people of Vallarta. They are in the groove. Everything is "easy go" all the time. It only takes a few minutes to know you are in another world and what matters is feeling good and having a good time.
Another Quiet Place to Relax Mexican Riviera...
Casa Amorita is located just a short walk to the many cafes and art galleries that give Puerto Vallarta the distinction of being referred to as the Mexican Riviera. The tiny cobblestoned town is intensely colorful with red tile roofs and flowers spilling over balconies and terraces.
If you are in the mood for some excitement, you can power sail, ride horses in the jungle, go deep sea fishing, scuba dive, snorkel, go hot air balooning, mountain biking, or sail to one of the small Polynesian-style villages, which are only accessible by water. Day trips can include a sail to the Marieta Islands for snorkeling and diving, or whale watching from December to May.
If a more relaxing day is your choice, take a walk to the Island on the River Cuale and have lunch at your choice of restaurants or jazz clubs. After lunch, you can stroll to one of the area's countless beaches or shops and boutiques.
Life is short...so come and hide out at Casa Amorita. Bring your friends and their friends.
You can not ask for a better hostess, Rita. She's from New Jersey, speaks Spanish fluently, she designed her home, she runs it, and her staff loves her and has been with her for years, (that speaks volumes to me) and she sometimes cooks the morning breakfast all by herself :). I can't say enough about her character, integrity, helpfulness and her bubbly personality,(so now you know why I say a star in PV).
This b&b has good beds! This is so important, if you've ever stayed in Mexico then you will KNOW that their beds are hard as rocks - but not here. These mattresses are from Germany and are NOT HARD. Before coming to Casa Amorita, we had just been at 4 star timeshare hotel for a week with a hard bed, so you can imagine how we felt when we stayed here, ( 4 nights) it was like heaven on earth..Trip Advisor Member, January 10, 2014
I spent 3 days at "Casa Amorita" the 2nd week of December. I could not have been luckier to have chosen this small B&B, owned and operated by Rita Love- it felt like a home away from home.
It has the best location in Puerto Vallarta with the beautiful tower of the Cathedral against the backdrop of the sea, right in your view- it's magical!
Rita and the staff of this beautifully styled B&B are just super- breakfast was a different treat every day. I would not consider staying in any other place in Puerto Vallarta.Trip Advisor Member, January 6, 2014
I booked here because I was photographing a wedding nearby and the bride recommended it. Beverley and her staff were amazing and very sweet. The breakfast was amazing each morning. We stayed from Thursday until Sunday and had an amazing time. There are so many places to walk to from the hotel. The staff is so friendly and willing to do so much to help your stay that more enjoyable. I got the massage while there and it was great! I wish I could have met Rita but she was visiting relatives. Bev was amazing and so kind and knowledgable. She made us feel at ease every minute we were in her presence. This is the only place I will stay when I visit next time.Trip Advisor Member, December 4, 2013
It was wonderful being back in Puerto Vallarta; and again spending time at the beautiful Casa Amorita.. It is so relaxing; and the care that Rita takes with her guests really make it a special place to stay. I had raved to my friends from Atlanta and was lucky that they were able to join me at Casa Amorita. It was a reunion with them after 15 years and they really enjoyed Rita's hospitality. The great breakfast; the views, and Rita's great recommendations made they're first trip to P.V. special. Thanks again to Rita and her amazing staff !Trip Advisor Member, November 16, 2013
