The Quarterdeck
One of the most distinctive rooms in the inn. It is a deluxe room that has a more contemporary feel than the other rooms with its cathedral ceilings, exposed beams and skylights. It also has a private entry, large sitting area with a working gas fireplace, an extra large TV/VCR, a very comfortable king bed, a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and separate shower. The bright palladian windows and a large private deck with outdoor seating provide expansive views of Mount Battie.

The Harbor Carriage Room
Pamper yourself in this large, luxurious room which has its own private entrance on the ground floor. The Harbor Carriage Room is a sumptuous treat for that special getaway. It features a dark mahogany framed queen canopy bed and a beautiful blue enameled gas fireplace whose flame reflects in the glowing whitewashed pine floors. The integral sitting area has two comfortable wing back chairs, a cozy cushioned window seat and a large color cable tv with vcr. Enjoy the extra-large bathroom with its blue enameled claw foot soaking tub and separate shower.

Elijah Glover Room
As the original master bedroom, this room is appropriately named for the house's first owner shipbuilder & lumberman, Elijah Glover. Located on the second floor, it is a spacious room with tv and vcr, comfortable seating, a small desk, beautiful period furniture and a romantic queen canopy bed. The private bath has a large shower and pedestal sink.

Coastal Garden Room
A bright, romantic room on the ground floor that has cathedral ceilings, skylights and a private entrance on the garden. Its features include a beautiful off-white pencil post canopy bed with a decorative head and foot board, a cozy loveseat, gas fireplace, and ceiling fan. The pretty private ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

*Brass Room* This large, romantic room is aptly named for its antique brass bed. A second floor room in the main house, it has a comfortable sitting area with two chairs, hardwood floors, plush carpet, VCR, and winter views of Mount Battie. It also has a bright, spacious bathroom with extra-large shower.	*The Crow's Nest* A quaint and cozy suite nestled under the eaves, *The Crow's Nest Suite* encompasses the entire third floor of the Inn. You can gaze at the stars through the skylight above your pillow as you drift to sleep. Two comfortable queen beds, two pretty bathrooms and a small sitting area make this intimate Suite perfect for a family, two couples, or two friends traveling together.
*Chartroom Suite* A spacious and comfortable first floor two room suite. It features a large library-like sitting room with gas fireplace, large TV with VCR, loveseat and comfortable easy chairs. The separate spacious bedroom has a beautiful arched mahogany queen canopy bed, small TV, and french doors that open onto a private deck overlooking the gardens. To complete the luxury of this suite, it also features a bright and airy bathroom with a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub/shower combination. The loveseat in the living room pulls out to accommodate an additional person.	*The Windrose* Victorian elegance awaits you in this second-floor suite with its own private entrance. The Trisha Romance Suite features a separate cozy sitting area with comfortable wing chairs, windsor bench, gas fireplace, tv/vcr combination and a radio/cd player. To complete the luxury of your apartment-like suite there is a large bathroom with claw-foot soaking tub, separate shower, and pedestal sink.
Open all year. Lower rates during our quiet season in winter and early spring. Reservations welcomed by phone, fax, e-mail or post; will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit equal to one night's lodging tariff. Room rates based on 2 people per room, per night, and are subject to the Maine Lodging Tax. We accept personal and Traveller's checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. *Cancellations* - Should you find it necessary to cancel, we would appreciate at least 21 days' notice. If you must cancel less than 21 days prior to your reservation date and we are unable to re-book the room reserved for you, the room charge will be billed to your credit card. Windward House, unfortunately, is unsuitable for pets and small children. We do welcome children 12 and over. We do not allow smoking.
