A relaxing room where television, games, puzzles and books are available.
The Parlor
In the parlor, where our guests are free to relax, watch TV, or read, you will find a cabinet that was taken from Mr. Poor’s drug store. The wide floor boards throughout the house are of a nearly extinct wood called pumpkin pine. This lumber was called "The King’s Lumber" and was thought to be the property of the King of England. To possess such items was considered an act of treason!
You may have your "tea" served here in the afternoon, although many of our guests prefer to have it in the kitchen, the heart of any home, or in the garden, weather permitting.
We have tried to retain the feeling of those bygone days, while providing all the amenities one would expect in a modern, comfortable bed & breakfast.
The Dining Room
Antique silver, china and linens grace your breakfast table.
Fresh flowers in season, and candles on dim days add to your dining pleasure.
