We've been welcoming families with children for many generations. Our guest list includes 5th generation children of guests. It's wonderful to have multi-generational families returning again and again. The cottages make a perfect family vacation spot, while the inn is wonderful for grandparents and grown extended family members. Oakland House Seaside Resort is great for family gatherings! With so much to do on site, children are easily entertained here. Explore a quiet tidal pool, hike a mossy trail, build a "fairy house" in the woods, or take a swim in the warm, clear water of the lake. Go fishing in the lake or ocean. The lawns are large enough for a ball game, volleyball, and croquet all at once. There are other families vacationing here too and children often discover friends dining in the same dining room at the Rusticator Restaurant.
