This lovely B&B is a circa 1820 Federal-style home, overlooking the Kennebec River in the "City of Ships" and nestled in the historic part of town. A classic New England house, it features an elegant double staircase, wide pine floors and fireplaces. Located conveniently off of Route 1 and I-95, its a great stopping-off point for visitors traveling to and through the Midcoast area. |
Our Location
There are endless things to do and see in the surrounding Midcoast area.......Bath is located near historic Wiscasset, Popham Beach, Reid State Park, Brunswick Naval Air Station, Bowdoin College, Pemaquid Lighthouse and the Boothbay area. L.L. Bean and other shopping outlets are located in nearby Freeport. Bath is also located conveniently 39 miles North of Portland.
Our Rooms
Guests can choose from three distinctive rooms, all having private bathrooms, ranging in price from $85-$120. The Captain's Room , with its comfortable grandeur, is spacious with a king-size four-poster bed and a view that looks out over the river. The Elizabeth room, named for a previous owner is decorated in a more Victorian style. The Tall Chimney Room with its exposed brick chimney, reflects a feeling of comfort and warmth and has a two-person jacuzzi in its large bathroom.
The inviting parlor is where guests often choose to relax, curl up and read a book or watch TV. Delicious full breakfasts are served in the diningroom where dietary restrictions are taken into consideration. Also, we now offer internet access througout our B&B!
