Orland is located in Hancock County. While at your Orland bed and breakfast, be sure not to miss a trip to the Great Pond Mountain Wildlands. Here, you can go hiking, bicycling, cross country skiing, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, and snowmobiling all year long. If you are a nature lover, go bird watching in the many state parks or mountains. Or, just take a nature walk and see the beautiful greenery in the area. The Narramissic River runs through Orland. Take time out of your Orland inn and enjoy a picnic by the water. If you plan to be at your B&B during June, go see the Orland River Day held every third Saturday of the month. Besides a parade, there is food, music, arts and crafts, and a raft race.
