We are open year-round.

Nestled beneath the maple trees on a secluded lane in the village of Winthrop, Maple Tree Inn is a 1900's rambling farmhouse with old fashioned charm, surrounded by flower and herb gardens. The Inn features privacy and comfort in a unique hideaway with simple warmth and homespun hospitality.

Located halfway between Augusta, the capitol, and Lewiston, Maple Tree Inn is peacefully away from the crowds, but close enough for day trips throughout Maine. The Inn is within walking distance of the lake and fine dining, and there are twenty lakes/ponds in the region offering boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking. Other nearby activities include golfing, shopping, a state museum, and snowmobile trails and skiing in winter.

Come sit a spell on the porch where afternoon tea awaits your arrival!

The spacious air-conditioned guest suite features parlor, kitchen, master bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with full bed, and private bath, appointed with antique and country furnishing. The suite is perfect for couples traveling together. Whether you prefer traditional or vegetarian preparation, your healthy abundant breakfast will feature the freshest organic ingredients and homegrown herbs. Your crisp line dried sheets will remind you of a day gone by. We feature our own natural hand made soaps.
