Maple Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast Inn and Conference Center located in Hallowell, Maine provides a unique combination of the peace and quiet of a country farm located just minutes from Maine's capital building with the full services that today's travelers request. This Augusta-area inn named "One of 30 Great U.S. Inns" by the June 2002 issue of Travel and Leisure magazine, was also an Editors' Pick noted as the "Best of Both Worlds" by the 2002 Yankee Magazine Travel Guide to New England. In 1997, we were rated "Best bed & breakfast hands down" by a statewide newspaper poll. |

| Our rolling fields and woods with trails and secluded spring-fed swimming hole give you a taste of the "real Maine" away from crowds of summer tourists. Our farm with expansive views is adjacent to a 600+ acre wildlife preserve with pristine pond for canoeing and more trails. Yet Maple Hill Farm is just minutes from varied dining opportunities and antique and specialty shops in the National Historic District of downtown Hallowell on the banks of the Kennebec River. The historic state capitol and acclaimed Maine State Museum are just upriver, along with Old Fort Western and other entertainment options in Augusta. Our location provides an excellent "base camp" to easily see the rest of Maine, with many coastal, lakes region, or mountain trips (even Freeport shopping) within an easy hour's drive. |
