Main Street B&B is a charming, large, classic New England homestead, the original portion built in 1820 by Dr. Reuel Barrows, one of the founding members of the Fryeburg Temperance Union. Succeeding generations of families built additions to accommodate their growing needs. Recently restored by its new owner, Main Street B&B offers a peaceful haven. Beautifully decorated bedrooms and modern bathrooms assure your comfort. A delicious breakfast is served indoors or outdoors as the season and weather permits. Although Main Street B&B is situated on 15 acres overlooking the intervale with a spectacular view of Mt. Kearsarge and the eastern flank of the White Mountains, it is a few short steps to the center of town. |

Fryeburg is located on the western boundary of Maine in an area providing exciting year round outdoor activities. Within fifteen minutes you can enjoy skiing at Shawnee Peak or Mt. Cranmore, canoeing and kayaking on the Saco River, cross country, hiking and snowmobile trails, and tax free factory outlets in North Conway. Main Street B&B is one hour from Portland, two and one half hours from Boston, and six hours from New York. We are within walking distance to the Fryeburg Fair. |
