The Lookout Inn is a unique country inn (bed and breakfast) located on the coast of Maine. We offer water view rooms and cottages, beautiful grounds and gardens, and great shore frontage. The Lookout has been owned and operated by the descendants of the Flye family for over 110 years. Our restaurant has a history of pleasing both locals and visitors alike with exquisite dinners as well as catering for events such as weddings. We are located on Flye Point, in Brooklin, Maine.

The Lookout is centrally located on the coast of Maine making it a perfect place to start a day trip to Camden, Bar Harbor, Castine, Deer Isle, Ellsworth or Blue Hill. Activities such as sailing, fishing, whale watching, sea kayaking, hiking, golf, tennis, and cycling are very popular in this area of the coast. Let's not forget the most popular of all: shopping for art, antiques and bargains. The Lookout is a great place for children to meet others their own age. There is ample room for baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball. Our beach is nice for an afternoon swim. There is even enough room to find the peace and quiet parents need for their vacation. Pets are allowed in most cottages for a small fee. To inquire about accommodations or reservations feel free to contact us.

Each year our gardens are planted to bring a beautiful array of flowers, vegetables and herbs to the Lookout. The circle garden is lovely for sitting, no matter what time of summer. It is planted to bloom throughout the season. Both the vegetable garden and herb garden supply fresh ingredients for our restaurant.
