Nestled amongst the historic seaport buildings of Rockland, the nine room Captain Lindsey House, built in 1837 and one of Rockland's first Inns, offers a quiet, comfortable and cozy retreat from your day's activities. Located downtown, within easy walking distance of shops, museums and the busy waterfront.

Meticulous care is evident in each of our spacious rooms, offering modern technological advances without infringing upon the grace of our antique furnishings. Imagine a lovely roadside English Inn, or a Sea Captain's home in the early 1800's, filled with artifacts and furnishings from all parts of the world. Choose one of our nine rooms to comfortably relax after participating in the Rockland area's many activities. All of our beds have down comforters, and pillows - European style.
