Southport, Maine (ME) Bed & Breakfast: This handsome Maine Country Inn, circa 1898, is located on three acres of attractive lawn descending to the waterfront. The Inn is the oldest continuously operating Inn in the Boothbay Harbor region and features thirty-two rooms, all with private baths, as well as a more modern annex. Most rooms have a view of the water. A small dock is available from which to launch canoes or kayaks. The candlelit ocean-front dining room with fireplace is filed with charm and romance, especially at sunset. Breakfast and dinner are served. The Inn hosts small weddings, family reunions, and other special functions.

Introduction

The Lawnmere Inn has 34 guestrooms (including the Hideaway and the Pine View Guest House), most of which have a water view. We're located just 2 miles from downtown Boothbay Harbor. All rooms have private baths, color cable TV, heat and telephone. The Hideaway is located on the west end of the property and is totally detached from the inn. Features include a king-size bed, private bath, private deck, and water view.

Enjoy a Country Inn Breakfast Buffet every morning of your stay, included in the room rate. The dining room serves dinner Memorial Day Weekend until Columbus Day Weekend. The restaurant has a full bar and extensive wine list.

Information 2007 Season

All guestrooms are smoke free as are the public areas of the inn.
Pets are welcome in some rooms on an availability basis.
Gift certificates for lodging and dining are available for any amount.
Check-in: 3 p.m.; check-out: 11 a.m.
Guestroom rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to Maine's 7% lodging tax.
There is a $25 surcharge for each additional guest over 7 years of age.
A deposit in the amount of 1 night's stay for guestrooms and 50% of the weekly rate for cottages (plus tax) will guarantee your reservation.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and personal checks.
For guestrooms, 14 days notice of cancellation is required for a full refund of deposit, less $25 cancellation fee.
PINE VIEW GUEST HOUSE, 60 days notice of cancellation is required for a %50 refund of deposit.
