A Victorian Inn in the beautiful, historic town of Paris in Oxford County, surrounded by scenic views, mountains and lakes.

South Paris, Maine Bed and Breakfast: King's Hill Inn is the Victorian-style, post and beam barn where Horatio King was born, in the year 1811.  He was raised on this family farm and became a distinguished native son of Paris.   King attended the commonschools, learned the printers' trade and became editor and owner of the Jeffersonia, a paper printed at Paris Hill.  In 1839 he was appointed to a position in the Post Office Department in Washington , DC. Horatio King became Postmaster General under President Buchanan and Abraham Lincoln. He died in 1897.

King's Hill Inn is completely restored with the same peace and tranquility the farm had 200 years ago.

Awaken to the sounds of birds greeting a new day, walk the nature trails & garden paths, or just sit and enjoy the beautiful White Mountain sunset from the back yard or your personal deck. Enjoy deer, chipmunks and an occasional black bear sighting.

You can bike the mountain loop for breathtaking views and hike to the top of Streaked Mountain on a fully-groomed trail. Cool off with a dip in one of our beautiful lakes or canoe down the lazy Saco River. Area mines still offer an exciting experience for the gem and mineral enthusiast and an opportunity to take a piece of Maine with you. The barn includes a unique antique and gift shop offering local antiques and quilts, wall hangings and victorian garden accessories.

Enjoy King Hill blueberries & Maple Syrup with your sumptuous breakfast served in the dining room from 7:30 - 9:00. Coffee and muffins available earlier. All guests are welcome to refreshments throughout the day and evening.

Celebrate the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, famous English High Teas, or special business functions with special accolades including cake and flowers. Let us help make your memories special. Our beautiful perennial gardens include the perfect wedding site and chapel. Pastors or notary readily available.

King's Hill Inn offers 3 suites and 3 rooms, featuring queen or king sized beds. All suites/rooms include private baths, and some have a jacuzzi and a gas log stove.

Depending upon the season, rates range from $95-160 for two.

If cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date, a $20 fee will be charged.
If cancelled less than 14 days, one night's rent for each room reserved will be assessed.
