Standard Rooms: Hartwell House I, queen bed, private bath.

French doors open to balcony with views of the back lawn, gardens and lily pond.

Large and elegant corner room on 2nd floor, facing Shore Road. Six-poster king English-inspired bed with French blue and silver bedding. Queen Ann antique highboy and lowboy. Oriental rug and sitting alcove with reading chairs.

Large, sunlit bedroom on 2nd floor. Queen canopy bed with swag and sophisticated ruby red and bronze damask bedding. Antique hutch and writing desk complement a sitting alcove with two velvet chairs and matching settee.
Suites Hartwell House II, very large 2-room suites with queen bed, private bath, separate sitting room with ceiling fan, kitchen area with standard refrigerator, sink, microwave and coffee maker. French doors to deck or terrace. Authentic English wax pine furniture, French doors and light wood floors give the suites a more contemporary feel. Available by the night or by the week.

Corner 650 sq. foot suite on 1st floor of Hartwell House II. Bright and sunny living room with kitchen area, separate bedroom with queen bed. Living room is furnished with loveseat, sofa, reading chairs and English wax pine furniture. French doors in living room lead to terrace.

2nd floor corner suite with 650 sq. feet of gracious living in Hartwell House II. Separate living room with paisley velvet sofa, plum velvet loveseat, wing chair, Scandinavian pine dining table, massive 18th century English waxed pine glass enclosed bookcase, and kitchen area. French doors lead to balcony surrounded by a wisteria tree. Separate bedroom with queen four-poster canopy bed, dressed in champagne and red garnet bedding, wing chair and desk.

Our most luxurious bridal suite on the 2nd floor of Hartwell House II. Largest, most elegant suite with 2-level sitting area decorated in gold and coral, dining area and kitchen area. Separate bedroom with queen white iron bed dressed in rose and cream velvet bedding. Skylights grace the bathroom and bedroom. French doors lead to private balcony.
Rates are for single or double occupancy and include gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea and sweets
7% Maine tax will be added to all rates
Children's Policy: The Hartwell House Inn serves as an intimate, romantic setting for adults who wish to relax. Children 14 years of age and older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult in their accommodation for the reservation period.
Holiday and summer weekends: 2-night minimum stay required (President's Day, New Year's Eve, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving)

Deposits and Cancellations: A deposit equal to one-half the entire amount (or minimum of one-night) is required to confirm a reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. In the event of cancellation with less than two weeks' notice, deposit is non-refundable. With over 14 days notice deposit is refundable less a $25.00 processing fee. Guests are responsible for payment in full of reserved dates, despite late arrivals or early departures.
