The Green Heron Inn

The Green Heron Inn offers a cozy, informal atmosphere and warm hospitality in the finest New England tradition. There are ten charming guestrooms in the main inn. Each room has a private bath, telephone, television, and all are air-conditioned. Some of our rooms are equipped with fireplace. Some rooms offer refrigerators and in room coffee. Our Coveside cottage with kitchenette, porch and balcony, sleeps five, and is perfect for a vacationing family.

• Room rates quoted are for up to two people in the room. The rate for the cottage is for three people.
• A fifteen dollar per night discount will be applied for an extended stay of seven nights or more.

Arrival and Checkout

• Check in time is 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Please make arrangements in advance for late arrival.
• Check out time is 11:00 a.m.

Deposit - Refund - Payment Policies

• Deposit of 1/3 of the total amount, or one night's stay, whichever is greater, must be received within 10 days of date reservation is made.
• Confirmation of reservation is made upon receipt of the deposit.
• A nonpayment of deposit will result in cancellation without notice.
• If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $35 cancellation fee, as long as receive notice at least 14 days prior to your arrival. If a last minute cancellation is necessary, we will refund your deposit, less a $35 cancellation fee, as long as we are able to rent your room(s) to another party for the length of your original reservation.
• The balance is due on the day of arrival.
• Master Card, Visa, Cash, travelers' checks, personal checks and money orders are accepted.

Additional Information

• Telephone reservations should be made between 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m.
• A two-night minimum stay for most weekends is required. Three night stay for Shannon Cottage and holiday weekends.
• For the comfort and courtesy of guests, pets are allowed in specified rooms and only with prior approval. Guests are responsible for the conduct of, and damage done by pets. Pets are not allowed in public areas nor are they to be left alone in room. There is a pet surcharge of $15 per pet per night. Please limit the number of pets to a maximum of 2.
• For the comfort and safety of our guests, the Green Heron Inn is completely SMOKE FREE. A $200 cleaning fee may be added to room charges should this policy be ignored.
