Introduction

Cranberry Hill Inn is located ten miles from Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. Visitors can enjoy the town's art galleries, shops, restaurants, library, and Wendell Gilley Museum.

Cranberry Hill Inn offers guests a variety of common rooms including a living room with hundreds of books and a cozy fire. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room and on the sun porch with local favorites and unique specialties to help you start the day. A late afternoon tea is hosted in the dining room and on the many porches that overlook the harbor. Before heading off for a wonderful dinner in town, guests can take time to watch the boats return from a day of lobstering and sailing.

Cranberry Hill Inn features four guest rooms, each with a queen bed and private bath. The Down East Suite also offers a double futon and a private sunroom that opens to the garden. Cranberry Hill's spa room features a variety of activities throughout the season, including exercise classes, massage therapy, and individual exercise options. We are a non-smoking inn for the comfort of our guests. harborview

We are just minutes away from the beach at Echo Lake and the canoe rentals at Long Pond. Each guest is provided with a map of Mount Desert Island and directions to activities that match your skill and interest level.

Southwest Harbor has restaurants and other fine dining establishments that will satisfy every taste or whim that you might have at mealtime. In addition, Bar Harbor and other villages on Mount Desert Island offer a wide variety of dining choices as well. Whether you're in the mood for lobster, seafood, steak, pasta, Mexican, pitas', or even a gourmet hotdog, we will be more than happy to steer you in the right direction. Your innkeepers are Patti and Jerry Selig. Patti is a counselor and retired professor of psychology. During the winter Patti and Jerry live in Bishopville, Maryland.
