The grounds of the Inn are lush and dotted with flower gardens and foliage. The view is spectacular, a scenic panorama of the ocean and a verdant wooded island. The downstairs has a warm and cheerful parlor and library, with a sunny dining room that has a breathtaking view of the ocean and Clark Island. Upstairs there are 13 rooms, 6 with private baths and 7 with shared. The Vestry Annex has 8 rooms, all with private bath and air conditioning. Each room is charmingly decorated with antiques and tasteful décor.
Craignair Inn is attractive to visitors who seek peace, privacy, tranquility, and natural beauty. It is a magical place, and is ideal for writers, naturalists, artists, or those who seek a change of pace. The cuisine in Craignair's Dining Room is prepared to order using fresh local seafoods, meats, homemade sauces, breads, pasta and pastries. Our Crab Cakes and Lobster Newburg are infamous, and you're sure to enjoy a delicious meal no matter what your tastes!

  • Gratuity is not included.
  • Add State Sales Tax to all rates.

    • Cot in room - $25 with breakfast included
    • Crib in room - $5 for night
    • Weekly Rate - 10% Discount
  • Deposit and Refund Policy
    • A deposit equal to your room charge for one night stay is required.
    • The deposit will be applied to the last night of your confirmed reservation.
    • Your deposit is refundable if cancellation is made 14 days in advance, less a $25 service charge per room.
    • Otherwise, a refund is subject to rebooking of the room less a $25 service charge.
    • Extended stays of a week or longer require a deposit equal to three night stay and will receive a 10% discount on the room rate.
    • Group Reservations have a different deposit and cancellation policy. Please check with the Innkeeper.
  • Two day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
  • Group reservations require a 21 day cancellation notice.
