Each season in Maine is unique from spring's new birth to fall's colorful show to winter's stark wonderland. Our deluxe luxury king rooms in the carriage house (Rooms #9,11,12) the former Master Bedroom of the Manor house (room #3) or the former Ballroom (room #5) are the perfect spots to spend your first days of marriage! Our rooms can provide a very private retreat with whirlpool tubs (some two person), fireplaces and candles. We will provide turn-down service with rose petals scattered across the crisp bed linens and a complimentary bottle of a chilled sparkling beverage for your wedding night and give you all the pampered attention you want or not...

"They say it's your Birthday "- sings your very own Birthday Dancing Hamster as you enter your deluxe accommodations! Enjoy an overnight or weekend escape to celebrate that special day! We will provide you with your very own keepsake dancing hamster, sparkling beverage and even a candle in your muffin at breakfast! We can arrange flowers, chocolates, carriage ride, in-room picnic basket, dinner reservation or anything else that you might need to make this birthday celebration one to remember!!!
Only $35 for the basic Birthday package. Any other billable concierge services are charged separately as requested.

Anniversary Package
This package will help remove all of the pressures of your daily lives so that you can spend a quiet overnight or weekend with your beloved and remember why you committed yourselves to each other! Candlelight, firelight, a whirlpool for two* and falling asleep in a canopied bed dressed in swags of silk will help the romance flame into a new year. We will help with dinner reservations, provide the sparkling beverage, sprinkle rose petals in the room and place chocolate kisses on your pillow and you bring the wedding photo album! Art, Science and Romance Escape Package (10/25/2009 thru 05/30/2010)

Festival of Lights (11/27/2009 thru 11/29/2009)

What better way to welcome the holiday season than to visit Rockland for a traditional coastal town celebration? Santa arrives on Friday afternoon via Coast Guard boat and Friday night is the lighting of the world's largest "LobsterTrap Christmas Tree". On Saturday enjoy the "Eat, Drink and Be Merry" celebration on Main Street where merchants offer holiday sales and food and drink offerings to make your holiday shopping merry! The afternoon is complete with a Holiday House and Inn tour that benefits the Rockland Public Library and features several private homes and all of the Historic Inns of Rockland including the Berry Manor Inn all decked out in their holiday finery. Saturday night is the Light Parade down Main Street where everybody votes for their favorite float with canned goods to help brighten the holidays for the needy. Stay for the conclusion of the parade at the Public Landing where you will be treated to caroling and hot chocolate around a bonfire. Our unique boutique shops and galleries are open extended hours for your convenience making this a great alternative to fighting for a parking space at the mall.

6th Annual Pies on Parade Event (01/23/2010 thru 01/25/2010)
Come to PIE TOWN and enjoy the 6th annual "Pies on Parade" event in celebration of National Pie Day, January 23rd and EAT PIE!!!!! Last year over 4,250 pieces of pies, 425 total pies and 35 different types were on parade in PIE TOWN for this event and we raised $10,000 for our local food pantry!
On Saturday afternoon, enjoy "Pie Refreshments" and a special presentation at Project Puffin and a docent led tour of the Maine Lighthouse Museum provided only for guests of the Historic Inns. Followed by a PIE Town first - a "Wine and Pie" pairing.
On Sunday, the Pies on Parade event will be held from 1 to 5pm and will include over fifteen venues to satisfy all of your pie eating needs! The event features sweet and savory pies. Continuous trolley service is provided.

5th Annual Chocolate March (03/26/2010 thru 03/28/2010)
Join The Historic Inns of Rockland in their own form of "March Madness" in celebrating National Chocolate Week. This event features two days of sweet samplings throughout the Historic Inns of Rockland and the Rockland community and including a wine and chocolate pairing and hot chocolate scrub massages.
It is a weekend of cocoa fun with an inn to inn tour, chocolate samples and demonstrations that include working with chocolate ganache, chocolate "FUNdu", chocolate pizza, chocolate-tinis, sipping chocolate, baking with chocolate, an international chocolate tasting and chocolate skin care tips!
