Welcome to the Berry Manor Inn, your home away from home in beautiful mid-coast Maine during the spring, summer, fall or winter. Please come in and take a tour of our beautiful inn, as rich in romance and grandeur today as when it was built in 1898. For more than a century the three-story Berry mansion has been lovingly maintained and has entertained generations of family, friends, and neighbors. We continue this tradition of grand hospitality with the Berry Manor Inn, Rockland's premier bed and breakfast inn and the only AAA Four Diamond rated historic bed and breakfast inn in mid-coast Maine.

All our public rooms -- parlor, drawing room, library, and pantry -- are yours to enjoy during your stay, as are the gardens and front porch. Keep a champagne toast chilling in the guest pantry refrigerator, or warm a piece of pie to go with your evening tea.

Spend a quiet hour in front of the drawing room fire with a book chosen from our second floor library, play a board game, or put a jigsaw puzzle together on the table by the front windows. And should you need an electronic diversion, we've tucked a TV, VCR, and Nintendo game behind the doors of the drawing room armoire.

Each of our twelve guest rooms is uniquely decorated in the warm, rich colors of the Victorian palette and furnished for your comfort with a blend of antique and period reproductions.

All rooms have private luxury baths, working fireplaces, air conditioning, and those necessities of modern life including telephones, data ports, clock radios, hair dryers, and warm, cozy robes. A limited number of in-room TVs are available upon request.

Room rates include morning coffee, a full breakfast, and evening sweets as well as the full use of the Berry Manor Inn's many common areas.

• Our innkeepers maintain up-to-date information on local and regional activities, and can provide you with maps, brochures, and other pertinent information to help you plan a special afternoon, evening, or entire vacation.

• The Berry Manor Inn caters to adults and is a romantic retreat for couples on their honeymoon, anniversary getaway, or just taking a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of family life.

• The Berry Manor Inn is a smoke-free establishment. The only area of the inn where smoking is permitted is outside on the front porch. We thank you for honoring this policy.

• It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beautiful black cat, Beamer. He left us after a long battle with liver disease. It is only with our hearts that we will see him sleeping amongst the flowers in the garden or roaming the common areas of the inn.
