The graceful Federal-style residence, built in 1820 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in the historic city of Hallowell, Maine. Hallowell is less than two miles from the state capitol city of Augusta and just a short drive to the beautiful Maine coast, the Belgrade Lakes Region or the western mountains. With four guest bedrooms, a library, social room, sunny breakfast room and professionally landscaped grounds, the Benjamin Wales House Bed & Breakfast is a splendid alternative to standard overnight accommodations.

Our bedrooms are tastefully appointed and feature luxurious bedding for maximum comfort and relaxation. Guests are treated each morning to a full breakfast, which includes a hot entree, fresh fruit, homemade muffins, coffee or tea and juice. All four air-conditioned bedrooms are non-smoking with private bathrooms and cable TV.

Rates & Guest Information

Rates range from $99 - $169, excluding 7% Maine Lodging Tax.
Pets cannot be accommodated; however, pet boarding services are available in the local area.
All rooms are non-smoking, air-conditioned and have cable TV, stationery, extra pillows and blankets. Free wireless internet on the property. There are personal soaps, shampoo and hairdryers in baths. Full breakfast is included.
