The Inn is situated in downtown Bar Harbor....and you are only a short stroll to the harbor, many distinctive shops, an abundance of eateries and the Shore Path ocean-front walk. You are also only minutes away from both the CAT Ferry Terminal for traveling to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia as well as Acadia National Park. Many activities are calling... enjoy the incredible beauty of Acadia National Park or take a day trip to the islands surrounding Mt. Desert. Or shop in downtown Bar Harbor and sample some of New England's crafts or Maine's wondrous food delicacies. |

Aysgarth Station gets its unique name from one of the prettiest locations anywhere, (except for Bar Harbor, of course!). The small town of Aysgarth is located in Yorkshire, England, where Jane grew up and spent many wonderful summer vacations. The inn offers wonderfully comfortable rooms, full hearty breakfasts and delightful afternoon refreshments. We have six unique guest rooms all with queen beds and air conditioning; all located just minutes from beautiful Acadia National Park. Aysgarth Station offers gracious and unpretentious personalized service to make every guest feel special. |

Our charming inn is right downtown on a quiet side street, located conveniently close to Bar Harbor's busy waterfront, shops, restaurants, a classic Art Deco movie theater and the winding Shore Path walk; which wraps around the oceanfront and the remaining 'cottages' from days gone by.
