Whitehaven Hotel

The Victorian Bedroom was built for the innkeeper himself in high Victorian Style including red wallpaper with gold edging. Today it is papered with a William Morris pattern and appointed with antiques including a marble topped mahogany dressing table. It has a private bath (shower only), working fireplace and semi-private access to the screened porch that overlooks the marsh. The bay and side windows look directly onto the river. $150 per night

The Garden Bedroom shares access to a wonderful screened porch overlooking the marsh and river. Recent guests watched two eagles fight with an osprey near the nesting platform thirty feet away. We're pleased to report that all was resolved with no harm to the disputing parties. It has a queen-size bed. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and shower arrangement. $140 per night
