Guest Rooms/Rates
Wake up each morning in one of our special guest rooms ready and rested for the day ahead. The Wades Point Inn has spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay. All rooms are furnished and decorated in traditional period decors. Many rooms have private waterside balconies; all rooms are air conditioned and some have kitchenettes. Rooms range from $152 to $260. A full breakfast is available everyday.
Note: peak season is 5/04/09 to 10/18/09. All rooms except the Victorian Summer Wing & Eastern Shore Country Farmhouse Will be $175 +tax from 03/09/09-03/31/09 and 11/16/09-12/13/09... TENTATIVELY OUR WINTER SEASON CLOSING DATE WILL BE 12/14/09
The Main House c. 1819
Three beautifully decorated period rooms are available in the main House. Two of the rooms can be combined to form a suite. Each has air-conditioning.
Blue Room - 2 double beds, private bath (across the hall), private porch, waterview - $215/night ($220/night peak season) Peach Room - 1 double canopy bed, private bath (down a few steps and across the hall), waterview - $179/night ($183/night peak season) Lookout Room - 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, private bath, waterview - $209/night ($215/night peak season)
Main House Guestroom
Mildred T. Kemp Guest House
Each of these twelve comfortable rooms has a small refrigerator, queen size beds, air conditioning, and private bath. Ten of the twelve rooms have either a private porch or balcony. Some have kitchenettes.
Four wonderful new waterview rooms are located on the third floor of the Summer Wing. This area is referred to as the Treetop Area. Each room has a queen bed with private bathroom; two rooms have showers and two rooms have a clawfoot tub with a handheld shower.
Eastern Shore Country Farmhouse
For a real retreat, the Wades Point Inn has a separate furnished guesthouse that sleeps a maximum of 13 people. An unusual find, the house has three bedrooms with double beds and private baths, and is fully air conditioned.
Holiday Room - 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 daybed, private bath and waterview, on the first floor - $173/night ($176/night peak season) Niagara Room - 1 double bed, 1 single bed, private bath, and waterview, on the first floor - $173/night ($176/night peak season) Garden Room - 1 double bed, 2 twin sleigh beds, private bath (downstairs on the first floor), and waterview, on the second floor - $163/night ($167/night peak season)
When renting the entire farmhouse, two additional rooms on the second floor are included.
Room # 1: 2 twin beds and a sink on the second floor with waterview.
Room # 2: 1 twin bed and sink on the second floor with waterview.
The entire Farmhouse can be rented for $600 plus tax & gratuity. ($650 peak season)
Rate and Discount Information
Corporate rates are available upon request.
All rooms are subject to 6% State tax and 4% County room tax. Blocks of three or more rooms incur a 5% gratuity. Payment can be made by way of cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.
There is a 10% discount for three or more nights Sunday thru Thursday (does not include groups, holidays or weekends). Breakfast is included with all rooms.
We have a 15% active military discount. An additional $30 plus tax per day is charged for more that two adults per room.
First floor rooms are for children. Children under 16 years of age are free. We do not have appropriate facilities for infants under 1 year of age. All guest accommodations are non-smoking.
Check-In & Check-Out:
Our normal check-in is between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Late arrivals must be arranged in advance. Please advise if you are arriving after 8:00 p.m. Check-out is 11 AM.
