Built in 1906 by Clarence Davis, foremost yacht builder on the Bay, Solomons Victorian Inn is still a focal point in this small village, which continues to retain the flavor of a seafaring town of a hundred years ago.

Solomons Victorian Inn is perfect for the couple looking for the ideal getaway as well as the business person looking for a truly relaxing climate. Ideally situated for long strolls along the harbor or on the river walk along the Patuxent River, visitors can also find small shops in which to browse and fine restaurants for dining. A ten minute drive can put you on forested paths leading to the open shores of the Chesapeake or towering cliffs overlooking the Bay.

The main house has five guestrooms, with queen-sized beds and private baths. Most have commanding water views. Also in the main house is a third floor retreat appropriately called "Solomons Sunset". It features a king sized iron and wicker sleigh bed and affords the finest view from its lofty heights. Filled with large triangular shaped casement windows, one is treated to a colorful sunset and a magnificent sunrise. Whether you're relaxing in the built-in seating in the turret of the home or soaking in the spacious whirlpool tub, the romance of the Chesapeake carries you away.

The adjoining carriage house contains two additional guestrooms. "Islandscape", a first floor retreat has breathtaking harbor views and a whirlpool tub in the bathroom. The second floor room, known as "Harbor Sunset", opens into a world of splendor. A deep-soak whirlpool framed in marble and a balcony overlooking the water compliment this hideaway.
