The Ship Watch Inn was originally built as a residence in the 1920's and completely renovated in 1996. Since then it has been operating as a bed and breakfast that stands apart from others in South Chesapeake City. Completely furnished with antiques dating back to the 1800's, the Inn features the warmth and charm of a southern bed & breakfast with the amenities and service of a modern day hotel. The Ship Watch Inn is the ONLY bed & breakfast in South Chesapeake City that is located on the water's edge along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.
