Reynold's Tavern

Reynolds Tavern is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Annapolis. Situated in a prominent position on Church Circle, it is convenient for the historic district, shops, restaurants and the United States Naval Academy.

The building has been restored beautifully to reflect the working nature of the tavern and the elegance of the 18th Century. Reynolds Tavern is the oldest tavern in Annapolis and one of the oldest in the U.S.

We have 3 rooms all en-suite, and luxuriously appointed, which offer a unique atmosphere just steps away from the Capital Building. Whatever your tastes, Reynolds Tavern has something to offer you. Sly Fox Pub & Restaurant in the cellar gives you a flavor of what a pub was like over 260 years ago. We have casual alfresco dining in our courtyard. Reynolds Tavern serves a full lunch menu, English Afternoon tea and romantic dining in the evenings. We look forward to seeing you!

The restaurant seating is in the original tavern kitchen. Here you can see the original foundation walls of the tavern, the large open fireplace and Rumford Broiler. The Pub features Happy Hour with 20 oz beers and specialty drinks. Enjoy a convivial evening with locals. Come dine under the stars in the largest courtyard in Historic Annapolis. A great place to relax with your friends and family.

Meetings, special occasion parties, and private dining, can all be accommodated at the tavern. We provide catering for parties of up to 120. The Tavern is ideal for private banquets including weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, business and political gatherings. The first floor dining rooms are available for private bookings and are elegantly furnished with choice antique pieces of furniture imported from England. Parties from 12 - 60 can be accommodated. The tavern's enclosed courtyard and terrace are perfect for wedding receptions or other special events. A tent can be erected to provide all weather availability. The courtyard can seat up to 100 guests. Buffet style catering can be provided for 120. We will be happy to discuss your specific requirements.
