Welcome to the Inn on Locust Street Bed & Breakfast
We are located in the heart of the Historic District, only a block to downtown restaurants and shopping and just minutes from the sparkling Chesapeake Bay, Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, and some of the most beautiful countryside imaginable! Several welcoming wrap around porches invite you to relax sit a spell and take in your lovely surroundings. Beautifully landscaped gardens, make finding the right spot to catch some rays, get cozy with someone special or just communing with nature a breeze. Tastefully decorated with fine antiques, the elegant living room is also a great place to relax and unwind.
We specialize in accommodating bikers, birders, outdoors people and those exploring the great beauty and
history of Dorchester County, as well as those who just wish to relax in comfort at the Inn and gardens.
We even have kayaks and canoes to rent.
Magnolia Room
This second floor room sleeps two and features an extra large full bath, comfy vintage 4-poster canopy rope bed, turret seating room, private balcony overlooking the garden and a magnificent magnolia tree. $150/night
Lilac Suite
This splendid suite features a kitchen, breakfast nook, large full bath with ball and claw tub and antique 18th-Century double rope bed with trundle, private sleeping porch and black colonnaded marble fireplace. $150/night
Annie Oakley Room
This second floor room features two twin beds and can sleep up to five more when combined with the cozy Tubman Room ($50 pp). $110/night
Garden View Room
Overlooking the lovely gardens this second floor room features an antique 4-poster thistle top rope bed with private sleeping porch, and Jacuzzi bath. $150/night
Cambridge Suite
This spacious, delightful ground floor suite sleeps two and features a fireplace with magnificent carved mahogany mantel, kitchenette, and private bath. $255/night
Crow's Nest
High up on the third floor, this private and cozy dormered room overlooks the gardens - a perfectly relaxing hideaway! $110/night

From Route 50 in Cambridge, take Maryland Avenue across the little drawbridge, and bear right.
Go 3 blocks, take a left on Mill Street, go one block, then right on Locust.
