Introduction
Hill House is located in the Historic District of Frederick, within walking distance of the many antique shops, fine restaurants, live theatre productions, Hood College, the Civil War Medical Museum,...
... the Visitor's Center, the Historical Society of Frederick, and the Delaplaine Visual Arts Center. There are many other points of interest, within and outside of town, too numerous to mention.
Hill House was constructed circa 1870 and is a three story Victorian town house embellished with Eastlake detailing on the street facade. It was renovated in 1996 by your hosts, Taylor and Damian Branson, who offer four beautiful guest rooms with private baths. Each of the rooms is decorated in a style which reflects the particular interests of the owners.
Damian and Taylor Branson look forward to offering you...
"Hospitality in our Maryland family tradition."
All rooms are appointed with original drawings, paintings and crafts. Throughout Hill House guests will find interesting family pieces of furniture, framed family documents, and items which have been handed down to succeeding generations over the many years of Maryland's history. Be sure to ask a lot of questions!
For you comfort, Hill House is centrally air-conditioned and all private baths are modern, ceramic tiled and newly accessorized.
Damian Branson will serve you a delectable Maryland-style breakfast. Her hobby, for many years, has been gourmet cooking and catering. Weather permitting, breakfast may be taken in the garden.
