Bedrooms have mahogany canopy Queen or King beds, TV (most with DVD), A/C and private bathrooms with custom tiled showers. Breakfast starts with pastry and coffee at 8 - 9 AM followed by a fruit course and then hot entree.

The George Brooks House has "raised the bar" for luxurious accommodations in St. Michaels - and at a reasonable price. The hand-carved mahogany furniture, art work, and stuffed furniture are truly exceptional. The inn provides six large guest bedrooms with either a king- or queen-sized hand-carved mahogany canopy bed with cable television (most with custom mahogany armoires and DVD players) and two comfortable chairs. Waverly bed comforters and coordinated custom draperies with wood blinds and rich color schemes provide a dramatic visual statement. Five guestrooms have gas fireplaces with custom bed benches, and two of our King Jacuzzi rooms are over 14 x 20 feet with two person whirlpool tub in the room.  The Inn uses Egyptian cotton sheets (340 thread count) along with English towels to pamper our guests. An advanced ground-loop geothermal heating/cooling system provides a quiet HVAC environment with individual controls in each room.

Rates and Policies
  • Price range: $95 to $225
  • Check-in: 2 to 7 pm
  • Check-out: 11 am
  • Two-night minimum stay most weekends (except winter weekends).
  • Special winter packages from December until mid-March.
  • Payment: Visa/MasterCard required to secure reservation, or mail a deposit check. Payment at check-in by
  • Visa, MasterCard, check, or cash.
  • Notice of cancellation or rescheduling must be received at least 10 days prior to scheduled arrival date to avoid room charge (there is a $20 fee).
  • Cancellations within 10 days of scheduled arrival date are guaranteed and may be charged up to the first night's lodging, unless we can rebook at full rate.
  • No smoking inside the Inn.
  • Lunch/Dinner: Available for groups booking entire Inn.
