Nestled on five acres of beautiful woods and gardens along the Big Elk Creek, historic Elk Forge has numerous amenities for your comfort & pleasure. We are just north of Elkton, Maryland in the sleepy village of Elk Mills. The area is rich in history and natural beauty and is just 3 miles from I-95, and minutes from Newark and Wilmington, Delaware.

Philadelphia and Baltimore are only an hour away. Pleasant excursions in Cecil County, Lancaster County, the Brandywine Valley, and the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake begin just outside our door. Area activities include: horseback riding, hiking, fishing, canoing, golfing, carriage rides and antiquing.

Baltimore - Colonial Four poster canopy queen sized bed, fireplace, private bath.

Guest Information
  • A stay of one night requires advanced payment in full to guarantee a room.
  • Two or more nights requires a 50% deposit.
  • Reservations are confirmed when deposit is received.
  • Balance due upon check-in by cash, personal traveler's checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Amex.
  • Rates are subject to Maryland taxes.
  • Check - in: after 3 pm; Check - out: 11 am. (special arrangements made for early and late arrivals/departures)
  • Meeting rooms are available for business retreats and private events.
  • Cancellations affect us significantly because of our small size, but we'll gladly refund a deposit if at least 2 weeks notice is given.
  • All cancellations subject to a $30 cancellation fee.
