Welcome to Antietam Overlook Farm, Maryland's most extraordinary bed and breakfast experience. Our 19th century style, country manor inn is surrounded by Civil War history and many other local attractions and activities. Enjoy spectacular views falling away to nearby Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. All of our suites have sumptuous queen size beds with luxuriant cotton linens and mounds of soft pillows. All suites have a private bath and a fireplace to cozy up to while enjoying a good book or a special person. All but the Wicker Room have a large soaking tub and a screened porch. No matter which room you choose, you won't be disappointed! Each morning's breakfast is included in your room rate. Breakfast meals showcase "tried and true" country gourmet recipes and special Antietam Overlook innovations. Our hearty country breakfast is a three-course delight sure to leave you with no room for lunch. |

The Country Room is a warm and inviting room featuring extraordinary views of the mountains of Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Wildlife also abounds in this wooded setting and, because they know they are safe, there are many deer, rabbits, turkey and other wild game may be enjoyed throughout the year. You are invited to make yourself at home and settle in front of the beautiful stone fire place with a cocktail or coffee to help you unwind. The chefs will be sure you have a few goodies to munch on. On warmer evenings you might enjoy our large screened-in porch with a panoramic view of four states as well as the Antietam Battlefield. Bird watchers will love this as we have many feeders drawing all sorts of beauties and best of all, the only noise you are likely to hear is the chirping. |
