![]() The Annapolis Bed and Breakfast Association offers accommodations that are both licensed by the City of Annapolis and annually inspected by their peers for quality, attractiveness and safety. These B&Bs are owner occupied and located in two adjacent sections of Annapolis, all within walking distance of one another, linked by Spa Creek Bridge. The Historic District homes are clustered in the old colonial center of town, bordered by City Dock waterfront shopping and restaurants, the U. S. Naval Academy, St. John’s College and the Maryland State House. Maritime District B&Bs are located in the relaxed atmosphere of the Eastport peninsula. Lapped by the Chesapeake Bay, this area is home to numerous marinas, sailing schools and restaurants. Together they define the Annapolis experience. Association members have thoughtfully restored and furnished their homes. Each B&B has its own welcoming ambiance, enhanced variously by lovely gardens or courtyards, by charming porches or intimate interior rooms and libraries. Here we invite you to share our love of our city as we assist you with activity planning and restaurant suggestions. Annapolis, the Capital City of Maryland, has enjoyed a reputation for warm hospitality since the 1600’s. During colonial times, seafarers, legislators, military men, merchants, and travelers arrived by land and sea. When Annapolis was the new nation’s capital in 1784, General George Washington and his friends stayed in local inns and private homes while conducting the business, which is now a part of our American heritage. Those early homes, streets and businesses now comprise the fabric of Annapolis’ Historic and Maritime Districts where Bed and Breakfast homes provide the same tradition of welcome and hospitality today.
