| Located in Federal Hill, a neighborhood primarily of brick, late 19th century homes, the 1890's Townhouse Suite has been totally restored and the current owner added a new kitchen and outside decks. The home is beautifully decorated in a mix of antiques and traditional furniture except for the second floor den. The Safari Lounge is decorated with artifacts and pictures from her many trips to Africa. |

Federal Hill Park provides a spectacular view of the Inner Harbor and downtown skyline. Cross Street Market offers a wide variety of food to be prepared at home. Takeout stands, a wide range of excellent restaurants, a micro brewery, two marinas, two health clubs and an outdoor swimming pool are just a few of the neighborhood attractions within an easy walk. One block from house is a bus line that goes to Inner Harbor or cabs are easily accessible. An easy 20-minute walk will bring you to Baltimore's Inner Harbor, Convention Center, Ravens Stadium and Camden yards. |
The accommodations are a private suite with full-sized bed, private hall bath and sitting room. The sitting room has a sleeper sofa, decorative fireplace, color TV with cable, and VCR. A ceiling fan and air conditioning make the suite comfortable in the warmer months. On street parking with a permit is available. A self-serve continental plus breakfast is included. This home requires a minimum stay of 2 nights at all times and a maximum of 2 persons. Rates are based on the number of persons traveling, length of stay and dates of travel (seasonal). The rate range is $125-155 per night.
Your hostess has lived in the home for the past 15 years. She was a history teacher at an all girls private school for 10 years and then worked with Romper Room Television in writing and producing shows. She has also sold cartoon shows in syndication, worked for a Travel company and currently is involved in web site design. Besides travel, (she has visited many European and African countries) she enjoys movies, theater and the beach.
