Located in a restored Italianate-style row home close to the INNER HARBOR, The 1870 Guest House offers a distinctive and refreshing accommodation complete with fully equipped private kitchen and bath. The unique urban setting in Southwest Baltimore offers the outstanding architecture of Civil War-era Baltimore located on historic Union Square Park (est. 1847).

This third floor suite offers an eclectic mix of unique fabrics, furnishings, and artwork. Features include a queen-size bed, private kitchen, bath with tub and shower, AC, TV, VCR, and private telephone. The kitchen is stocked with a substantial breakfast. Guests serve themselves at their leisure.

The southwest Baltimore neighborhood, known as 'SoWeBo,' has an unusual mix of artisans whose works are featured in galleries, festivals, and museums. Nearby attractions include the H. L. Mencken House Museum, B&O Railroad Museum, Carroll Mansion, and Hollins Market, built in 1836, Baltimore's oldest public market still in use.
