Introduction
Yankee Clipper Inn has been voted one of the Top 15 B&B's "on the Eastern Seaboard" by inngoers in Arrington's Bed & Breakfast Journal's 2003 Book of Lists!
The Yankee Clipper Inn consists of an oceanfront, 1929 Art Deco mansion and a magnificent contemporary cape with panoramic ocean views. It is located on the rocky shoreline of Rockport, Massachusetts. Rockport is a picturesque, quaint fishing village noted for its artists, shopping and whale watching. The Yankee Clipper Inn offers the opportunity to relax, while enjoying the scenic beauty of this spectacular location.
Rolling lawns and gardens frame colorful vistas to the ocean. In season take time out to relax under the umbrellas on the terrace for a quiet read. Take laps in the salt water pool. Inspiration and reflection are yours from the special vantage point of the gazebo to walking trails which begin at the edge of our grounds.
The Inn offers several choices for your accommodation. Three of the rooms offer oceanside sun rooms, which provide a perfect place to relax and read a book or to make plans for your day. Fifteen rooms provide magnificent ocean views.
Two of the rooms off access to the oceanfront grounds directly from their private entrances. Several rooms include jet tubs. All rooms offer cable television. We are no longer serving dinner, but would be happy to refer you to some of the many excellent restaurants on Cape Ann. We are also pleased to announce that the Yankee Clipper Inn is smoke free.
