 Nantucket, Massachusetts Bed and Breakfast: Today, The Veranda House stands as one of Nantucket's landmarks. Its white porches welcome incoming ferry passengers to the island and its terraced garden stands as a reminder of the steep origins of Step Lane, whose slope has since been tamed. Our three wraparound verandas offer spectacular vistas of Nantucket Harbor and our terraced gardens mingle fresh salt air with blossomed breezes. After a cozy night in one of our charming rooms or suites, start your day with a gourmet breakfast or an in-room massage.

  • Deluxe rooms and suites offer LATHER toiletries, Frette linens and robes, flat panel TV's with DVD players, private luxury baths with subway tiled rainfall showers, complimentary Wireless access.
  • Additional taxes of 9.7% apply to the room rate. In summer we generally require a three night minimum weekend stay, two night minimum during the week.
  • Rates are based on double occupancy. There is a $35 nightly charge for an additional person.
  • Pets, while we love them, we do not accept them.
  • The Veranda House is a non-smoking Inn.
  • Deposit policy: For stays of three nights or less, 100% of deposit is taken at the time of reservation. Longer stays require a minimum of three nights deposit.
  • Cancellations: Cancellation up to 15 days prior to arrival will incur a 10% cancellation free from the deposit. Reservations cancelled within 15 days of arrival are completely non-refundable.
  • Check in: Guaranteed by 3:00 PM. Early arrivals are more than welcome to leave their luggage.
  • Check out: 11:00 AM. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late check outs, but we are happy to store your luggage until your departure from the Island.
