Introduction
Tired of fighting Cape Cod traffic...or just want to get out the city for a while?
This 1860 Antique Victorian home is situated on 23.8 areas of land. If the gentle ruins of an old greyhound track do not relax you, maybe the stream or pond will. The architecture and history of this property will sit you back on our wrap-around porch and reflect upon a time unknown to us. Centrally located in Middleboro, Rock Village Bed and Breakfast is forty minutes from Boston, twenty minutes from Plymouth, Martha's Vineyard Ferry and the Cape Cod Canal. Forty minutes to the NewPort Mansions.
Charles Neil Atwood built this home in 1860 and employed over 90 people in the village. The home's entrance greets you with Corinthian columns and a wood carved staircase. Past the pocket doors is the dining room, containing an antique tiled fireplace. Turn to the right and the library's wooden bookcases invite you to sit for awhile and read. Next door, the ribbed ceiling foyer opens up to a three-season porch crowned with copper. Come see the original Victorian tulips and seashells incrusted in tiles. Your stay at the Inn is your special time away. Our wonderful atmosphere and our knowledge of the area will make it one of the most delightful and memorable experiences you'll ever enjoy. New Harvey Windows and new electrical wiring were installed in all bedrooms at Rock Village Bed and Breakfast this winter. All rooms are properly ventilated for our customers.

House full of history
"Rock Village Bed and Breakfast boasts historic setting and owner’s flair for antiques."
by Jane Lopes/the gazette
Charles Atwood, whose family founded the Rock Mill that established its fortune –and that of the family’s South Middleboro neighborhood, built the Civil War-Era Italianate/Queen Anne home in the heart of historic Rock Village. The impressive home that are now operated as a bed and breakfast by Doreen Sullivan boasts numerous architectural details like the carved wood fan over doorway of the parlor and the stained glass window in the bathroom, below right.
