We try to maintain a balance between those who come to experience the area by staying at a Bed & Breakfast, and those who seek a bit of solitude to either work, write or unwind in a peaceful country setting. Guests are welcome to use our large fireplaced living room to enjoy music, watch television, or socialize with other guests.

Travel information about Northampton, Massachusetts

Northampton is located in Hampshire County in central Massachusetts. This lovely town is the home of Smith College and offers many activities and historical spots. At nearby Holyoke, home to Mt. Holyoke College, the Hispanic Family Festival is celebrated each year in July. The festival honors the Latino family and culture. If you like fairs, come to Northamption and stay in a Northamption B&B or Northampton inn in August when the Belchertown Fair, located in nearby Belchertown, offers entertainment, rides and food. Historic Deerfield, home to Deerfield Academy, is well known for its boutiques and museums and it is just a short ride away from Northampton. Berkshire Adventures in nearby Berkshire provides outdoor recreational fun, including rope climbing, kayaking and hiking. After a day there, return to a Northampton bed and breakfast to relax. Then try Osaka Japanese Restaurant in Northampton for dinner. It's a great place to try international cuisine. Spaghetti Freddy's Depot Restaurant, also in Northampton, is known for its great service and delicious cuisine.
