Travel information about Mashpee, Massachusetts

Mashpee is located in Barnstable County on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, and boasts many family friendly B&B establishments. There are lots of fun activities in Mashpee and the Mashpee area. The Barnstable County Fair, held in nearby East Falmouth in July, is one of them. It features entertainment, rides, food and games. You can take a ride on the Cape Cod Duckmobiles, which are located in Hyannis, only a short distance away. The guides make the tour fun and interesting. Be prepared to hit the water at the end! Bass River Cruises and Starfish Water Safaris is in nearby West Dennis and offers a great way to see the ocean up close and personal. Also the Harwich Cranberry Festival is held each year in Harwich in September. It features a craft show as well as a variety of foods and it's only a short ride away. There is always so much going on town, so when you are planning a visit to Mashpee why not book a room in advance at a Mashpee bed and breakfast or a Mashpee inn. After you spend the day touring and checking out the shops in Mashpee, return to a Mashpee B&B for a rest. Then check out the Siena Restaurant, right in Mashpee, for dinner, with great food and service. Another choice is Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub, also in Mashpee, which has great seafood and steaks.
