Lakeside Estates Bed & Breakfast

Is boating your game? Is fishing your past time? This is the place for you. Otis reservoir is the biggest recreational body of water in the state of Massachusetts. The lake has some of the best bass fishing around. The third weekend in May is the "Almost Bass Masters " weekend here at the Reservoir. In the past the lake has been stocked with Atlantic salmon. The aunt and uncle of this cottage's owner, has had the pleasure of reeling in a 10 pound, 30" salmon.

Off-season time is just as beautiful as the summer. The fall foliage reflecting off the water is a sight to be held. X-country skiing, snowmobile, ice fishing, is right outside the front door. Downhill skiing is only 10 to 20 minutes away. Take advantage of the discounted off-season rates but still enjoy the beauty of the Berkshires at your front door.

There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed and other with a twin bed. On the first floor there is 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The bathroom is also on the first floor. There is a washer and dryer in the basement that you can get to from the kitchen or from the outside.

The Getaway has been completely remolded. The living room, dinning room and kitchen view the lake. The interior walls are knotty pine with windows trimmed in an off white. The kitchen is brand new with all new appliances. The cabinets are all white with black handles. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds. The bedrooms, living room, and dinning room have ceiling fans. If needed the Getaway is equip with central air conditioning.

It has a wonder 10 x 32 deck where you have the use of a gas grill and outdoor furniture with an umbrella for shade. You are only a 100-yards to our private beach area where you can swim and use the docks. One of the docks is a boathouse with a covered porch that is suspended over the water. Sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

The Bunkhouse is part of the Lakeside Estate property on Otis Reservoir, the states largest recreational body of water. Originally it was created for the owner's mother so she could live on the property, but still have her own space. Although you are not directly on the water you see the water and have water access. You are surrounded by beautiful gardens and assorted outbuildings. Altogether there are 11 buildings on the Lakeside property.

This very private space has one bedroom, kitchen, and living room with a pull out couch, and large bath. This cozy sitting is best for 2, or a new family of 3 but will sleep 4. Please call for additional details and information.
