Attractions/Activities
Brewster is "America's Sea Captains' Town." Centrally located on Cape Cod and situated along the shores of the Bay, the town could easily be mistaken for a Norman Rockwell painting come to life. Many art galleries, interesting craft stores, and antique shops beckon the curious visitor. Live theatre, classical and popular music concerts, art shows, cinemas, fine art museums, and auction houses are nearby.
As many travelers know, Cape Cod is beautiful in all seasons. For the lover of the outdoors, nature walks, wildlife preserves and peaceful stretches of beach along the Bay, ponds and lakes abound. Bird watching, hiking, fishing, boating, fresh and saltwater swimming, golfing, tennis, bicycling, horseback riding, whale watching cruises are available close by and the Cape Cod National Seashore with its pristine Atlantic Ocean beaches, is only minutes away by car. We are within bicycling distance of the famous Cape Cod "Rail Trail", with 25 miles of uninterrupted cycling, running, walking or rollerblading.
