Porch and Gardens Our 1840's farmhouse has been extensively renovated so that you enjoy the best of both the old and the new. The beautiful wide pine floorboards upstairs and the fireplace in the sitting room remind you that this is a house that has been loved for over six generations. But unlike the hardy New Englanders of days past, you will enjoy your own private bathroom, air-conditioned bedroom and a screened back porch. All rooms have queen-sized beds.

Breakfast during the week is a robust continental assortment of homemade baked goodies, fruits and local specialties. On weekends we serve an elegant, sit-down, full continental breakfast. We pride ourselves on being a "green" inn and often use our own home-grown fruits and vegetables. Local and natural products -- fresh roasted coffee, local sausage and dairy goods, organic produce-- are used whenever possible. Dining Room

Deerfield Guest House is less than two miles from Yankee Candle, Historic Deerfield and Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory. We are a 10-20 minute drive from UMass and the Five Colleges, several fine independent schools including Deerfield Academy, and the many attractions of Amherst, Northampton and Greenfield. Conveniently located off I-91, you will find a quiet, peaceful refuge of 22 wooded acres, gardens and open vistas on the western foot of Mount Sugarloaf between Old Deerfield and South Deerfield.
