This historic house, built in 1903 by John Crocker Makepeace and Grace Parker, has its roots in the cranberry business, a mainstay of the region to this day. The expansive grounds are planted with a myriad of beautiful gardens, which afford our guests the opportunity to relax in a quiet and attractive setting.

Enjoy a hearty and healthy breakfast in the charming dining room or on the unique octagonal glass sun porch overlooking the gardens. Our inn is a two-minute stroll to town and dining options, and is in close proximity to Wareham Harbor and local beaches.

You are welcome to join us for complimentary wine or sherry in the fireplaced front parlor, relax on the wraparound porch, or enjoy some quiet time in the three-season sunroom overlooking the gardens.

For those heading to Cape Cod for the weekend or a vacation, you are invited to join David on certain Friday nights during the summer for a free BBQ. You will stay at Cranberry Gardens for the night and leave the traffic behind. Just minutes from the Bourne Bridge, you will be awakened to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and sent off to the Cape before the traffic starts building on Saturday. The perfect relaxing start to your getaway.
