The Cornell Inn is an historic and beautiful Lenox inn located in the heart of Lenox village, just up the road from Tanglewood, and a short stroll to the restaurants, shops, galleries and boutiques of Main Street. Our bed and breakfast is comprised of three buildings, all situated on an idyllic, secluded lot adorned with beautiful gardens - an oasis of privacy and serenity. Our lodging backs up to Kennedy Park, a wooded nature preserve with trails for hiking, biking, walking running and skiing. Our Berkshire accommodations are close to Stockbirdge, Lee and Pittsfield. Our 30 rooms provide choice and variety. Accommodations include King, Queen, Full or double Twin beds. Our larger units include a 2-room suite, 3-room loft suites with full kitchen, and rooms with a separate sitting area. Many rooms feature fireplaces and single-occupancy whirlpool tubs. All rooms are tastefully appointed in either Victorian, Colonial or Country Primitive styles. You will find rooms that feature antique Victorian treasures and others with Americana, painted cupboards, vintage toys and traditional New England charm. Original corner beams and floorboards help bring to life the history of many other rooms. |

Tanglewood and many other cultural activities define the beautiful Berkshire summers. In addition to Tanglewood, Lenox is home to Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, The Berkshire Theater Festival, and Williamstown Theater. Fall foliage also attracts visitors from all over the globe as the tiers of magnificent Berkshire terrain transform into a canvas of spectacular colors. Typically at its peak by Columbus Day, the fall foliage in Lenox, and all of the Berkshires, varies from year to year. Centrally located, this is a great "home base" for leaf peepers hoping to tour New England to see Mother Nature at what is perhaps her finest hour. The Cornell Inn is the perfect place to stay! |

A full breakfast is served daily, featuring delectable entrees such as Blueberry-banana buttermilk pancakes, Tuscan Strata, Praline Pecan French Toast, Texas Quiche and Apple Pancakes, along with fresh fruits, savory breakfast meats, coffee cakes, and more. Guests can choose to breakfast or relax in either our dining room or on the garden terrace, which features a waterfall and koi pond to soothe your senses. Our light-filled dining room offers gorgeous views of the gardens. Free high-speed wireless internet also enables guests to sit at an umbrella-covered table and use your laptop computer. We are pleased to accommodate special dietary needs. During the winter, make yourself comfortable in front of the living room fireplace or by the fireplace in your room. Each day our private pub is open for houseguests. The inns common areas are all very welcoming. During the summer, enjoy the front porch, with wicker furniture and gorgeous plants. |
