It houses a Grand Event Room for Weddings and Receptions, as well as eleven guest rooms offering quiet Back Bay charm and personal comfort. Each room is individually furnished with period antiques and reproductions.

Weddings

$750 for 4 hour event. Additional hours: $100 per hour

Includes:

  • Four hour rental period of client's choice
  • Rooms available all day for set up and deliveries Dance Floor
  • A Steinway Grand Piano is available for use in the Drawing Room.
  • Use of house china, glassware, linens, tabbles and chairs.
  • Please note that music and bar must end by 11 PM.
Table Setting

Attention to Detail Food Service for The College Club:
Features Jesse Wolkiewicz, our excellent in-house Executive Chef, and offers menus for a variety of functions including luncheons, dinners, cocktail parties, teas and brunches. Food from outside caterers is not permitted. The manager will gladly discuss menu selections and pricing. Menus must be decided 10 working days prior to the function. Split menus are allowed on the entrée portion of dinner only. A card or ticket identifying the choice must be supplied by the host.

Guaranteed Number of Guests:
Must be given by noon at least three days prior to the event. This is the guaranteed minimum and is not subject to reduction if we do not receive a guarantee, we may find it necessary to charge based on the original estimate.

Table Service:
Is offered either in our cozy dining room which accommodates a maximum of 35 guests, or in our second floor Drawing Room which accommodates a maximum of 60 guests.

Waitstaff:
  • Will be provided free of charge for functions that meet the following food minimums:
  • $10 per person weekdays between 8 am - 5 pm
  • $20 per person weekdays after 5 pm and on weekends
Functions which do not meet these minimums or which require no food may be subject to an extra charge for waitstaff or attendants as needed. The College Club can seat a maximum of 60 in the Drawing Room and can hold no more than 100 guests with limited seating.

Alcohol Sales:
All alcohol must be purchased through the Club. A bartender will be provided by the Club for a minimum charge of $60 for up to 3 hours, and $20 per hour for every hour there after. The College Club is permitted to sell beer and wine. All glasses, ice, soda etc. will be provided.

Buffet

Cancellations:
  • Charges will apply as follows:
  • Within one month-- full room rental charges apply
  • Within one week-- 50% of total estimated charges apply
  • Within 48 hours-- 100% of total estimated charges apply
Deposits: Deposit and a signed contract are required to guarantee the function. All deposits are non-refundable.

Special Occasion Cakes: May be ordered through the office. If you wish to bring in your own cake, there is a fee of $1.00 per person.

Massachusetts Sales Tax: 5% is applicable to all items charged to a function. Tax exempt groups must provide a Massachusettes State Expempt Organization Certification. An 18% Clubhouse charge will be added to all function related charges.

Outside Rentals: Outside rentals are permitted. The Club can also make the arrangements for you. Tables, audio visual equipment, chairs, linens etc., may be ordered through the office.

Decorations: Such as fresh floral centerpieces and ice sculptures may be purchased through the office. Candles are available upon request for a nominal fee. The Club will not permit the affixing of objects to the walls, light fixtures or ceilings without the approval of the manager.

Deliveries and Pickups:
May be made prior to the event when scheduled with the manager. Hosts wishing to leave anything at the Club following an event must make special arrangements with the manager to pick up the items on the following day. The College Club is not responsible for any items left in the building following an event.

The Club is Not Responsible for Damage or Theft of any belongings left in the Club prior to, during or following the function. Any damage to the Club or its furnishings during an event will be the responsibility of the renter. The College Club reserves the right to inspect and control all events held on the premises.

No food may be taken out of the Club. Prices and terms subject to change without notice.
