Introduction

Chez Sven Bed and Breakfast - Wellfleet, Massachusetts
Chez Sven Bed and Breakfast
Looking for a peaceful holiday destination? Discover Wellfleet, a charming former fishing village in Massachusetts, two hours from Logan Airport.

Sandy is fluent in French. Sven, a retired history professor, speaks Swedish and German. Together, they pioneered the concept of the B & B cottage, a place of quiet beauty where freshly baked bread appears like magic and guests can have as much privacy as they want.

Chez Sven guarantees a true change of pace and kid-glove care. The owners keep the house, cottage, and studio as allergen-free as possible. They provide 100% natural amenities, organic cotton sheets, and fresh garden flowers in every room.

A 2004 guest called Chez Sven "a hidden treasure." Come see for yourself!

Stay in a r-e-a-l-l-y old house. Chez Sven has floorboards up to 16 inches wide. During renovation, Sven found a Lady Liberty penny dating from 1798. Nestled in the woods, Chez Sven is located on Old King's Highway, unpaved as in colonial times. The central location means the village of Wellfleet is only minutes away. You'll find great hiking trails in the National Seashore nearby: 60% of Wellfleet is national park, preserved forever. Guests can also walk to Dyer Pond, described in the New York Times as "the most beautiful, most hidden, most serene."

Tourists come for the pristine beaches and open space, but Wellfleet is more than just a pretty seaside village. The town is known for art galleries, famous writers, and WHAT, "consistently exciting, top-notch theater." What's more, Wellfleet is the perfect place to stop and explore Cape Cod. The excitement of Provincetown is just 20 minutes away.
