The Captain Chipman Inn Bed and Breakfast provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere with three beautifully appointed rooms with views of the pond, salt marsh, and Cape Cod Bay. Our bed and breakfast inn is conveniently located on Cape Cod Bay in the Village of Sandwich, Massachusetts.

The Greek Revival inn was built by Captain Stephen Skiff Chipman, a direct Mayflower descendant, circa 1850. The Captain settled in Sandwich, MA with his wife Temperance Fish and raised their 5 children. We have tried to keep to the historical designation of the Cape Cod area by using antiques, and fine reproductions while furnishing the Inn.

At The Captain Chipman Inn Bed and Breakfast, we enjoy pampering our guests with a sumptuous breakfast, enjoyed in the dining room, or outside on the deck or terrace. We serve breakfast on lovely linens with seasonal china. You will have a quiet respite from your adventures on Cape Cod Bay. Rates: $100 - $160.

• Check in from 3:00-6:00 p.m., other times by arrangement.
• Check out 11:00 a.m.
• All rates are based on single or double occupancy and includes a full breakfast.
• An extra person is an additional $25/night for the Hope Howland Room.
• There is a two night minimum on weekend stays from Memorial Day until Halloween.
• We are sorry, but cannot accommodate pets, but we will be happy to suggest a local kennel.
• The inn will accept children over the age of 12.
• This is a non smoking inn.
• One night's deposit is required to confirm reservations. Final payment is due on arrival and may be made by cash, MasterCard, or VISA.
• Deposits are refundable, less a $25 handling fee, for cancellations received at least 21 days prior to arrival. Cancellations must be confirmed by telephone.
