Birdsong Bed and Breakfast

We are just five minutes from Amherst and Hampshire Colleges, downtown Amherst, Emily Dickinson's House, the Amherst Cinema and the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. We are 15 - 20 minutes from Smith and Mt. Holyoke Colleges, UMass and other area attractions.

Birdsong B&B is nestled among dozens of beautiful hiking trails and is just five minutes from the acclaimed Norwottuck Rail Trail, a state park with miles of wonderful biking & walking paths. Our rates are $95 per room per night which includes a hearty breakfast of bacon {or vegetarian option}, eggs, homemade banana bread or muffins, fresh fruit, juice and fresh-brewed coffee or tea. (We also offer a more economical rate of $80 per night that does not include breakfast).

The Peace Room has a double bed, writing desk, rocking chair, colorful Oriental rugs, TV with DVD & VCR, wireless hookup, memory foam mattress, and windows with views of a horse & goat pasture. Also provided are a telephone, refrigerator, alarm clock, and CD player.

The Wildflower Room has four large windows facing the lush green backyard, a queen sized bed, wireless internet, refrigerator, writing desk, rocker and a television with VCR.

This sunfilled room has a single day bed and a queen-sized sofabed with memory foam topper, as well as a writing table & rocker, refrigerator & wireless internet. Ideal for back-to-nature people who enjoy the evening breezes, panoramic views of nature, and direct access to the beautiful, secluded backyard.
