Introduction
Built in 1863 and listed on The National Register of Historic Places, The Beach Rose Inn is tucked away on a quiet lane in the peaceful village of West Falmouth.
Lovingly restored in the spring of 2002, each room has been tastefully decorated in a style of its own. All are adorned with antique furniture and period reproductions, fine linens, colorful quilts, and accent rugs. Many feature canopied beds, fireplaces, and whirlpools. Accommodations are located in three buildings--the Main Inn, the Carriage House, and a Cape Cod Cottage.
Begin each morning with the beautifully presented breakfast served in the cheerful gathering room or the sun porch. Enjoy home baked breads, fresh fruit, and the innkeepers select dish of the day. After your day's activities, enjoy the cool breeze on the sun porch, or on cooler evenings, the warmth of the sitting room fireplace.
After your hearty meal, take a stroll on the town and participate in some local activities. Some examples include:
Swimming on sandy beaches
Cycling
Hiking or walking
Golfing
Tennis
Fishing/cruising
Horeseback riding
Whale Watching
Antiquing/Boutiquing
Historic light houses
Theaters
Museums and Gardens
Woods Hole Aquarium
Ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket
In any season, and for any occasion--honeymoon, anniversary, or getaway-- The Beach Rose Inn is the perfect retreat.
