How to Find Us

From the East:

  • Take I 90 west to Exit 3.
  • Turn right coming out of the tollbooth onto Rts. 202 and 10 in Westfield and travel 1.5 miles.
  • Turn right on Route 20 west and travel 5.8 miles.
  • Turn left on Route 23 west. Travel 5.3 miles to the Blandford Historical Society building. (It's white and directly in front of you.)
  • Bear right onto North Street (small green sign) and travel 4.2 miles to Old Chester Road. Shortly before Old Chester Road is a brown and yellow sign reading Baird Tavern Bed and Breakfast with an arrow pointing to the left.
  • Turn left and go over a bridge immediately. The Baird Tavern is on the right, a brown center chimney colonial with sign on the side of the house reading Baird Tavern 1768.

From the West:

  • Take I 90 east to Exit 2.
  • Follow Route 20 east 15.2 miles.
  • Make a hard right turn onto Blandford Road immediately after a white sign reading Entering Chester, Incorporated 1783. Travel 3.8 miles.
  • Turn right on Old Chester Road and proceed as above.

From the North:

  • Take I 91 south to I 90 west.
  • Follow I 90 west to Exit 3 and proceed as above.

From the South:

  • Take I 91 north to I 90 west.
  • Follow I 90 west to Exit 3 and proceed as above.

From Northampton:

  • Follow Route 9 west to Route 66 west.
  • Turn left on Route 66 west and travel 13.9 miles to Route 112.
  • Turn left on Route 112 south and travel 3.5 miles to Route 20.
  • Turn right on Route 20 west and travel 8.3 miles past the center of Chester until you see the first of two signs for Walker Island Campground on the left. Immediately after the second sign turn left on Blandford Road and travel 3.6 miles.
  • Turn right on Old Chester Road and proceed as above.
